About your Host: Lori Messing McGarry grew up in Nebraska in a radio family and lives metro Washington DC and New York City. Formerly Director of Policy with the Wireless Association in Washington, DC, she has served on federal advisory committees and international telecommunications standards groups. An avid photographer and traveler, she has visited more than fifty countries. A longtime Board Member of Arlington Independent Media, she is currently a graduate student in Journalism at Georgetown University. Real Fiction airs on KXCV-KRNW Public Media - one of the original NPR affiliate radio stations. Thanks for being here!
